History

Tier1CRM is a member of the Systemware Innovation Corporation (www.swi.com) group of companies. Systemware is a 30 year old software services and solutions company providing innovative, high quality software systems that run the critical day-to-day activities of major businesses.

Mark heads sales, marketing and strategy at Tier1CRM, which is a certified partner of salesforce.com specializing in the vertical Force.com solutions for a number of industry verticals. Tier1CRM has leveraged the Salesforce Force.com platform to its fullest potential by creating highly specialized AppExchange solutions tuned to the specific workflow and information needs of knowledge workers in Financial Services including Capital Markets, Investment Management, Fund Wholesaling and Wealth Management. Tier1CRM’s solutions are used by small, medium and large firms.

Mark has more than 30 years of experience in the financial sector, but his roots are in the nuclear industry, where he was responsible for the design and implementation of mission critical systems.

Mark also serves on the advisory board of the SWI Group of companies (www.swi.com). Mark held executive positions in other divisions of the SWI Group of Companies including CEO of Halcyon Monitoring Solutions which successfully created a flagship software product for Sun Microsystems, and a telco-class management product for Cisco systems.

Phil directs all business operations at Tier1CRM. His areas of responsibility include working in partnership with the management team to support the company’s strategic objectives, managing financial and business planning activities and human resource and legal functions. Phil is also responsible for Partner Relationships including Tier1CRM’s deep relationship with Salesforce.com. Phil has many years of experience in Salesforce.com implementations and brings that knowledge to all areas of his responsibilities.

Phil is the former CEO of SWI Systemware and he also serves on the advisory board of the SWI Group of companies. Phil has more than 20 years in the nuclear and financial sectors with deep management, sales and operations experience.

Jeff’s breadth of experience comes from a hands-on approach working with major industry giants including Bell Canada, Ontario Power Generation, Citibank, Sun Microsystems, and Cisco Systems. In 1997, Jeff joined Halcyon where he served as a Design Team Leader, Chief Architect, and VP, Head of Engineering and Research. In 2005 Jeff co-founded and was head of engineering for xkoto Inc., a venture-funded database startup that was acquired by Teradata in 2010. Jeff has joined Tier1CRM in 2014 as the CTO.

Jeff holds a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Waterloo, a M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Physics from Queen’s University.

VP, Customer Success

Ryan Quesnel

Ryan is responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of the Tier1ACE™ product suite, and ongoing customer success of all our in-production clients. Ryan has over 18 years experience in software development, technical consulting, and project management. He has an extensive track record in key leadership roles for large scale enterprise application and integration implementations including salesforce.com and Capital Markets. Ryan plays a vital role in driving the design, implementation and evolution of customer strategy and supporting processes. In his role, Ryan provides direction & guidance on product design and roadmap based on evolving customer requirements.

Ryan holds a degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

VP, Professional Services

Michael Stuart

Michael leads the Professional Services team providing end to end implementations and solution customizations of the Tier1ACE product suite and Salesforce platform to ensure successful rollouts and high user adoption for our Clients. His team works closely with Clients and the Tier1 Product team to identify and specify requirements for ACE product enhancements to meet the increasingly sophisticated needs of the users and with Client technology teams and solution partners to deliver high value data integrations bringing mission critical data to the users within the Tier1ACE products.

Michael has over 30 years experience in operations, sales management, marketing, customer support, training and product design including over 18 years of CRM solution consulting experience in a wide variety of industry segments including complex enterprise Capital Markets implementations on the Salesforce platform.

VP, Strategy & Design

Léa Hill

Léa spearheads the feature rich growth and development of our Tier1ACE™ product suite. She is a certified Scrum Product Owner and has been instrumental in the implementation of our agile workflow allowing us to provide exceptional responsiveness to our clients. Léa has more than 20 years of experience in software product development and project management including a UX Research and Design certification. Much of her experience involves directing creative and product development teams in the creation of rich internet applications.

Since 2006, Léa has been directing our product development team in the evolution of our cutting edge client relationship solutions utilizing salesforce.com as the platform of choice driving the product roadmap based on both internal and external client feedback.
