Business & Technical Lead, Release Quality
You will provide collaborative, business & technical leadership with cross-functional teams to define, implement and standardize quality release management activities from planning to delivery in accordance with the general release cadence and applicable quality standards.

You are an inter-departmental team player that will analyze requirements, design, and implement solutions to improve quality and efficiency for all teams involved.

You will work with the world leading cloud computing platform with highly specialized technical teams and of engineers and technical support staff in an agile and dynamic environment.

You will serve in a highly visible, mission critical role with abundant opportunity to contribute and improve the scale and efficiency of our processes.

Engage in the design and implementation of all aspects of Tier1’s quality release engineering processes, including product configuration & impact analysis, installation & upgrade verification, alpha/beta testing, documentation and release certification standards.

Develop and continually maintain a deep understanding of Tier1’s product offering, implementation requirements and impacts as new features and products become available.

Help employees, partners and customers achieve maximum efficiency and value withTier1 products by understanding and mapping core business and technical requirements into pre-packaged configurations and solutions.

Play a key role in defining and driving quality certification standards into generally available releases and solutions.

Incorporate feedback and best practices from implementation and support teams into product packaging, tools and releases management processes.

Design & drive the delivery of administrative tools, processes and services to maximize operational efficiency and enable self-management and adoption of Tier1 products.

Assist with product and solution documentation and be a key contributor to the enterprise and product knowledge base.


3+ years of technical & business consulting/analysis for enterprise cloud implementations in a “hands on”, leadership role (including requirements analysis, solution design & development, configuration, testing, and deployment)

3+ years of experience in Financial Services and/or Capital Markets in a customer-facing role with a solid understanding of the business needs

Solid understanding and experience with release management and quality assurance (QA) best practices (from development to staging & production)

Salesforce configuration and development best practices, including APEX, Visual Force and SOQL. Salesforce certification is an asset

University degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent with demonstrated academic excellence

Excellent oral and written English communication skills

Nice To Have
Experience working in Agile Scrum software development environment and related tools & methodologies

Experience with software configuration management (SCM), continuous integration (CI), packaging and repository management, and related technologies

Solid understanding of Internet technologies and services including object-oriented software development and scripting (e.g. SQL, Java, .NET, Python, json, REST)

Knowledge of mobile technologies and platforms
