Mark co-founded Tier1CRM in 2008 together with Phil Dias, a partnership spanning over 30 years. Mark began his career at Systemware Innovation Corporation (SWI.com), creating mission critical software for the telecom and nuclear sectors. This led Mark`s first CEO role, as founder of Halcyon Monitoring Solutions which created flagship software products for Sun Microsystems and Cisco.
Mark`s vision of Tier1 was to create world leading enterprise cloud-computing software to power the institutional sell-side and buy-side. Under his leadership, Tier1’s products are currently being used by tens of thousands of users across a prestigious client base in sales and trading, corporate and investment banking, and investment management.
Phil directs all business operations at Tier1CRM. His areas of responsibility include working in partnership with the management team to support the company’s strategic objectives, managing financial and business planning activities and human resource and legal functions. Phil is also responsible for Partner Relationships including Tier1CRM’s deep relationship with Salesforce.com. Phil has many years of experience in Salesforce.com implementations and brings that knowledge to all areas of his responsibilities.
Phil is the former CEO of SWI Systemware and he also serves on the advisory board of the SWI Group of companies. Phil has more than 20 years in the nuclear and financial sectors with deep management, sales and operations experience.
Dan leads the Sales and Business Development teams at Tier1CRM. He has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services sector, including his previous experience selling into the Capital Markets and Investment Banking spaces with Dealogic and Dow Jones & Co. Prior to that Dan worked as a SR.
Sales Trader with Schwab Capital Markets. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics from Fordham University.
Jeff is primarily responsible for providing the technical leadership for Tier1CRM and ensuring the alignment between the company’s technological and business strategic goals. As head of product realization, he drives the product development and quality assurance teams towards making the Tier1ACE product suite the leader in capital markets software. For this, he draws upon a breadth of experience that comes from a hands-on approach working with major industry giants including Bell Canada, Ontario Power Generation, Citibank, Sun Microsystems, IBM and Cisco Systems. In 1997, Jeff joined Halcyon where he served various roles, culminating as the VP, Head of Engineering and Research. In 2005 Jeff co-founded and was Head of Engineering and Research for xkoto Inc., a venture-funded database startup that was acquired by Teradata in 2010. Jeff rejoined the fold as the CTO of Tier1CRM in 2014.
Jeff holds a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Waterloo, a M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Physics from Queen’s University.
Ryan brings over 20 years of multidisciplinary experience in software development & design, technical consulting and project management. He has an extensive track record for excellence in key leadership roles for numerous large scale enterprise implementations and projects, including salesforce.com and Capital Markets.
Ryan’s mission is to standardize, streamline and continuously improve Tier1’s software quality release model and facilitate scale through tools, process and automation. Transitioning from head of Customer Success in 2017, Ryan brings over 10 years of experience and best practices in understanding our customers’ needs from both a technical and business perspective.
Ryan holds a degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
Michael leads the Professional Services team providing end to end implementations and solution customizations of the Tier1ACE product suite and Salesforce platform to ensure successful rollouts and high user adoption for our Clients. His team works closely with Clients and the Tier1 Product team to identify and specify requirements for ACE product enhancements to meet the increasingly sophisticated needs of the users and with Client technology teams and solution partners to deliver high value data integrations bringing mission critical data to the users within the Tier1ACE products.
Michael has over 30 years experience in operations, sales management, marketing, customer support, training and product design including over 18 years of CRM solution consulting experience in a wide variety of industry segments including complex enterprise Capital Markets implementations on the Salesforce platform.
Léa spearheads the feature rich growth and development of our Tier1ACE™ product suite. She is a certified Scrum Product Owner and has been instrumental in the implementation of our agile workflow allowing us to provide exceptional responsiveness to our clients. Léa has more than 20 years of experience in software product development and project management including a UX Research and Design certification. Much of her experience involves directing creative and product development teams in the creation of rich internet applications.
Since 2006, Léa has been directing our product development team in the evolution of our cutting edge client relationship solutions utilizing salesforce.com as the platform of choice driving the product roadmap based on both internal and external client feedback.
John leads the Customer Success group delivering ongoing account and technical support to our clients. From resolution of technical and training issues to change management planning and adoption optimization, the Customer Success team covers the full scope of client needs.
John is a broadly-skilled technology professional of more than twenty-five years of experience providing support to large public- and private-sector organisations. Over the span of his career he has worked as a business relationship and project manager, developer, pre-sales engineer, process and systems analyst, support technician, technical writer, and trainer.
